Theres an option to upgrade from Pro to Elite via a software upgrade if need be, but it's expensive though. However I'm not sure whether I need the level of adjustment the Elite offers because I'm not a professional by any means. I'm in the same boat as you, the Pro is more favourable to me due to multi monitor support. Sorry for late reply mate, and I should've saw that you were based in Sydney before I posted the link. Of course if any of you can direct me to another reliable and trustworthy store like Ted's Cameras that has these devices for decently less, then please leave a link to the site in your post, please. This does seem like a lot of money to spend on such a device but I believe that it's a worthwhile investment. NOTE: All prices are in Australian Currency.Īs you can see there is a $70 difference between the Express and the Pro and a $100 difference between the Pro and the Elite. I'll probably be getting the device from Ted's Cameras and at the time of writing the prices are as follows:

I would like to not be limited by the number of displays that I can calibrate and for that reason I've been looking at the Pro version but also at the same time looking at the Elite version because it as unlimited adjustability, and knowing how fussy I can be, I think that I may go with the Elite version. However I'm finding on the Dell that I can't seem to get colours quite right (mostly grey, I've heard that if you can get a neutral grey on your display then every other colour should be correct) and so I've been looking into getting a display calibration device and as such I'm trying to figure out which Spyder 4 version of the product would suit my needs the best. Okay, so I wasn't getting much of a response with the previous version of this post so I decided to modify it to better get across what I'm asking.Īs some of you may know I bought the Dell P2314H IPS monitor the other week and I've found it alright, colours are certainly much more vibrant than my HP TN panel display.
